ECOSH Health & Safety Courses at the Grimsby Institute

Now celebrating a year in its new premises within the University Centre Grimsby, the ECOSH centre which is a part of the Grimsby Institute Group is delighted to share some exciting new appointments and courses.

Alan Wallis

We are delighted to introduce Alan, one of our newest members of the team as our Diploma lead. A NEBOSH marker and former HSE inspector, Alan has a lifetime’s experience working in the Health and Safety field. Alan is a former Marine Engineer who has experienced real life incidents that have inspired him to undertake a career in health and safety

Bob Bailey

As our Construction certificate lead, Bob has a lifetime’s experience in the construction industry. With the improving construction sector, we are launching the construction variant for those wishing to specialise in this area.

As our General certificate lead and a longstanding member of the ECOSH team John continues to provide excellent, consistent and experiential tuition that learners find accessible and helpful to their learning

Ray Stephenson

Ray Stephenson

Ray, a paramedic trained specialist leads our First Aid provision which covers all aspects of general first aid and more specialised aspects such paediatric and emergency first aid and
first person on scene. Ray leads a team of mostly former and current paramedic trainers and assessors.

We also offer a wide range of short specialised Health, Safety, First Aid and Environmental programmes. A number of new programmes are planned for 2016/2017 including Offshore, Fire and Emergency Planning training.
